It’s Christmas again! Time does fly doesn’t it? It’s a wonderful year for me and I sure hope you’ve had a great year too.

Lucky tossed to and fro on the bed trying to catch some sleep. He had the 2 hp Air conditioner on full blast but it didn’t help, no, not this time. His mind was deeply troubled. One of my younger friends came to see me the other day. Sitting with a glass of freshly squeezed Orange juice, she looked lovely in her navy blue stripped suit. No sparks at all?
Sited at the back of the Bus, Sheila was completely oblivious of her immediate surroundings. It was 7:00pm in the evening but the Sun was still up! It was summer and everyone wanted to take in as much sun as they could. Shoppers milled in and out of shops along the crowded street wearing flimsy clothing of various degrees.

Where did I go wrong?
Angela stood examining her husband’s shirt for close to two minutes. She wasn’t mistaken. The red stains were lipstick stains! She sniffed at the shirt. Strange perfume!
She dropped the shirt on the Laundry pile and sank into the dirty pile. She felt so weak, she just had to sit down!
Soon, lying on the clothes, completely oblivious of her environment, gentle tears ran down her pretty face wetting the clothes with stains no washing powder could ever erase from her memory.

The time was a little past 9:00 pm as we stepped out of the Bus Station. I was dog-tired and I couldn’t wait to get back home.
“I don’t know why these Pastors can’t understand that most of us are working folks” Martha, my flat mate, complained as we headed for our flat.
The mid-week service at our Church had lasted a little over two hours and I could understand why she was aggravated. She worked at the Underground and she had to be up by 3.00 am in the morning!
